Description Queue the music to Jaws as the player walks to the tee of this 230-yard Par 3 (it plays shorter from the up tees). The yawning bunkers on the left show little green. The run-up area leading to the green is sloped to the right, which will cause balls to bounce into the right side bunkers. The long hitters must avoid going long-left as Out of Bounds looms close. The 8th is the longest par 3 on the course and it demands a long shot from the tee to a flat putting surface. It is a strong hole and its place on the course is important to the overall design of the course. The first seven holes on the course are not long by todays standards. The eighth puts a big exclamation point on Joness desire to test all skills of those who would play his course.
