Tournament Format
The Summer Stableford is an 18-hole stroke play competition for golfers with established handicaps. There will be a Men�s flight and Ladies flight. Foursomes will be paired with golfers with similar handicaps. Net scoring prizes will be three deep. Ties for 1st place will determine a winner with a playoff of the 18th hole. If no winner is determined, a chip off shall determine the winner. Other ties will be based on match starting at hole # 13 and regressing back.

Stableford Scoring will be on a net handicap basis
Double Bogey � 1 point
Bogey � 2 points
Par � 3 points
Birdie � 4 points
Eagle � 5 points
Double Eagle � 6 points
Players should pick up their ball if the stoke count on a hole reaches net double bogey. Scorecards will include dots to indicate player handicap by hole.

Handicaps
Handicaps are determined by using the player�s most current handicap index as certified by the governing body where the player is a member. A course handicap for Carambola is then determined and assigned using the Course Handicap Table as published by the Puerto Rico Golf Association. Players must submit a validated handicap index from the governing body they are members of to be eligible for prizes.

Rules of Play

Play is governed by the most current USGA Rules of Golf and their Decisions, unless modified by the Local Rules.
