Description The beginning of Carambola’s version of Amen Corner begins at the par 4 11th. The shortest of three successive par 4 holes, this one offers a landing area straightaway to the green. Out of Bounds to the left and bunkers to the right keep players honest. A well-struck tee shot leaves a short approach to a mildly uphill green. Although it may be viewed after the round as a breather hole, it is anything but that, if the ball ends up in one of the greenside bunkers. Jones was trying to lull the players with a false sense of confidence.
