Description The 130-yard par 3 14th is just the break Jones envisioned. For those players whose strength has been sapped by Jones’ artistry on the previous three holes, this hole provides a needed – but deceptively dangerous – bit of relief. The tee shot must carry water all the way to the green. Many a player has pared the difficult 13th, only to relax and post double-bogey 5 on this short hole. Once again Jones is trying to make the players think. A brief respite prepares the players for the return to the clubhouse. The upcoming “TV” holes should provide an exhilarating ending.
