Description One of the defining aspects of all great golf courses is the quality of par 3 holes. Jones embraced this fact and the fifth is the first of four great par 3’s on the course. At 190 yards from the tips, this hole is all about “penal” golf because it is over water without any bailout area. Over the green is no treat because of the bunkers and the green sloping back to front. The tradewinds are generally at the players back. However, between the two mountain ridges that surround the course, these trade winds are known to swirl.
